Fabric Row is a longstanding garment and textile district along South 4th Street between Bainbridge and Catherine streets in Philadelphia’s Queen Village (formerly Southwark) neighborhood.
The clothing industry began in the 19th century, and the city officially recognized the area as “Fabric Row” in 1996. Today, the remaining third- and fourth-generation textile shops are interspersed among boutiques, restaurants, tattoo studios, and other businesses.
