Lawrence County in rural western Pennsylvania is part of suburban Pittsburgh & can be found west of the city. New Castle, the county seat has the distinction of being known as the "Fireworks Capital". Two of the largest fireworks manufacturers (Zambelli Fireworks Internationale & Pyrotecnico) were founded in the county in the mid-late 1800's.
