The McCoy House is a great example of Federal style architecture in a small rural town. It was built between 1836 and 1843 and has a basement, five rooms on the first floor, six on the second floor including an indoor bathroom, and an attic. The building is currently used as the Mifflin County Historical Society Museum with rooms furnished in the Victorian Period. The property includes a small yard with brick pavers, a flower garden, and a remodeled carriage house at the back of the property.
