The Flagship Niagara is docked in Lake Erie off the coast of Erie, Pennsylvania. It is a reconstruction of the battleship Commodore Oliver Perry commanded to defeat the British in September 1813 during the War of 1812. This historic battle became known as the Battle of Lake Erie. The Niagara serves as the main exhibit of the Erie Maritime Museum.
