Spanning Pennsylvania's border with New Jersey, the 1000 foot deep Delaware Water Gap runs along the Delaware River. In addition, the Pocono Mountains are host to the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area; it spans 67,000 acres of forest, mountains, valleys & floodplains. Wildlife is abundant throughout including hundreds of black bears.
