Founded in 1898, Palmerton emerged as a borough due to its close proximity to anthracite coal, the Lehigh Canal and railroads. Today it is a charming town in Carbon County. This lovely park with its gazebo spans nine acres along Delaware Avenue. The western area of the park contains a bandstand suitable for public events.
