The Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site/Park is comprised of 848 acres. Within the mostly wooded terraine the remnants of a late 18th Century iron plantation in operation from 1771-1883 can be found. The site consists of numerous restored structures & artifacts reflecting its industrial past.
