The Anthracite Heritage Museum in Scranton preserves & provides an accurate representation of the lives of the European immigrants that settled in northeastern Pennsylvania to work in the coal mines & related industries. The harsh working conditions are depicted as are glimpses into the homes, local pub, church, etc.
