Originally, Binney & Smith, Crayola has been involved in the manufacturing of color products since its inception in the mid-1800's. The company produced its first box of eight wax crayons in 1903 & the name, Crayola was coined by Alice Binney, the wife of one of the owners. Crayola Crayons are fondly remembered by many integral part of their childhood.
