Erie Cemetery was founded in January of 1851 and dedicated on May 20, 1851. It spans 75 acres of landscaped tranquility. The cemetery is under the management of the Erie Cemetery Association; they also oversee Laurel Hill Cemetery & Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery, also in Erie.
