The city of Easton's Hugh Moore Park spans 520 acres & includes sections of the Lehigh River & Lehigh Canal. The park was purchased by the city in 1962 with funds donated by Hugh Moore. The National Canal Museum is housed within the park and oversees historic sites within the park including: the Lehigh Canal (with its three operating locks), a locktender's house and ruins from several 19th century industrial sites. The canal boat Josiah White II is also operating within the park.
