Located just downstream of the Shohola Lake dam, the wide creek fans out to an impressive width as it descends the falls. In high water, the entire slide is covered; at low water, the right side becomes the dominant channel. Shohola Creek slides 60 feet down a variegated stone face before dropping over a 10-foot ledge into a cavernous plunge pool.
