Susquehannock State Forest spans 265,000 acres in Potter, Clinton & McKean counties & is known for its vast swath/stand of productive black cherry trees. Contained within are the Hammersley Wild Area & Forest A. Dutlinger Natural Area. The Hammersley encompasses 30,253 acres of wooded valley & plateaus. Dutlinger is comprised of 1,521 acres of mostly old growth timber.
