Scenic bridges scattered throughout Armstrong County. This western County was founded in 1800 & is located approximately 40 miles north of Pittsburgh; the county seat is Kittanning. Kittanning had the distinction of being home to the most millionaires in Pennsylvania during the 1880’s due to the development of the county’s abundance of natural resources including oil reserves. The Allegheny River flows throughout contributing to the arresting beauty of the countryside.
