The Indiana County Courthouse built in 1968 is comparatively new with respect to many Pennsylvania courthouses that date to the mid-1800's. The building is brick with a front portico. Perhaps its most distinctive feature is the statue of the Indiana born actor Jimmy Stewart errected in the front.
