This historic, brick station opened on February 11, 1889. Today it is no longer operating as a passenger rail service with the exception of tourist excursions made possible by the SEDA-COG Joint Rail Authority, the Nittany & Bald Eagle Railroad & the Penn Valley Railroad. The station is overseen by The Bellefonte Historical Railroad Society.
