Volant, Lawrence County is a small, quaint village complete with an old-fashioned main street and charming shops. The village, incorporated in 1893 was a gristmill town. Althought the mill closed in the 1970's the building is still the focal point of the village; it is presently operating as an antique & speciality shop.
