BUILDING IN PITTSBURGH, INTERIOR

Spirit is a 10,000 square foot bar/venue/event hall/pizzeria. There is a 4,000 square foot parking lot with 26 parking spaces on the property as well. The building was built and designed to be the Lawrenceville #581 Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge back in 1948, and it has been so for the past 67 years. The chapter has recently closed, and the building was sold & the current owner is restoring the building, and reopening the compound to the public as a multi use 450 capacity event hall upstairs, and 195 capacity bar/pizzeria downstairs. The charm of the building is endless. The highlights include a 50' bar with 30 vintage bar stools, a small stage down stairs that looks like something out of twin peaks, a huge stage upstairs with 15' ceilings, wood paneling through out the building, and a New York style pizzeria. Thomas Barr, the owner of Spirit, has film production experience where he worked on location for the TV show Girls and the independent film Summer of Blood while living in Brooklyn. Thomas welcomes the challenges that come with location preparation and production. Spirit can also cater for production, and has a mobile wood fired oven for pizza.
