Two replicas of the Statue of Liberty known as the Little Sisters of Lady Liberty can be found in Lawrence County. One is located in New Castle, the other in Ellwood City. The statues were erected in 1951 by the Boy Scouts; they stand aproximately 8.5 feet high and are made of copper.
