Raystown Lake in Huntingdon County is an 8,300 acre man-made lake; it is 30 miles long and surrounded by 21,000 acres of land. Much of this surrounding land is owned by the US Army Corps of Engineers resulting in the lack of residential and business development; thus trees uniquely blanket the shores of the lake accentuating nature's beauty.
